Ginger

 

Ginger is commonly used in Ayurveda and Carakasamhita, the most important text book of Ayurveda, agrees that ginger brings heat to the body, increases perspiration and stimulates the circulatory system. It soothes sore throats, congesti0n and sinusitis. It is also very good to cure rheumatism and migraine. Ginger can also induce delayed menstruation.

The patient suffering from gallstones, acidity and Ulcer should not use too much ginger. Ginger originates from India and it was introduced to the west through trade much later and it is easily found in Indonesia. Therefore, use ginger as a daily tonic for your yogic health. The shape of ginger is a very complex and, similarly, ginger cures the complex diseases of the stomach.

God has made all fruits and vegetables to somehow resemble the organs of the human body as a solution for human health. All dry fruits and hard herbs are used for diseases of the stomach. However, all red color fruits and  vegetables somehow purify the blood etc. therefore, God most mercifully, has in fact, arranged different kind of herbs, vegetables and fruits for mankind so that they can use those herbs in their daily lives in order to live in perfect health.
