Ayurveda the science of life an
ancient medical system of India developed as a complete medical science
thousand years ago. It is one of the best methods of healthy living for human
being. Caraka and Susruta are two important text books available in India
explaining in depth of human body and its method to cure from diseases. There
are three types of body of human beings based on ayurvedic principal.
Vata Type Person
Vata
means wind, A Person's body is as follows:
Thin body, tall, always underweight,
thin bones, unstable mind, weak digestion, like to drink warm water, does not
like cold water or food, fried oily food, insomnia, restless, sound of bones
when walk, easily tired, dry skin, small eyes, disorder of nerves and
intestine.
If you have qualities like this, then
do the following...
Drink
warm water eat fresh food and avoid winter or cold places. Don't drink except
some time Red wine or little alcohol.
Do
little exercise like Asanas and Pranayama. Jogging but avoid heavy exercise.
Food
contains sweet, salty and sour are good for your body.
Use
Sesame oil for cooking or massage purpose.
Milk
and butter are good for Vatta type persons but if don't want then sesame oil is
best for vatta type person.
Meditate
in Padmasana position and avoid too much sex.
Do
not go for fasting too much. Occasionally is OK.
Avoid dry fruits.
Pitta Type Person:
Pitta means fire. If this element is
dominated, then your qualities are as follows...
Strong digestion power, like to drink
cold water, ice, enjoy winter, does not like hot, too much sexual desire,
average weight, too much anger, jealousy, weak liver and not clean blood,
medium weight, medium body structure, oily hair, enough sleep, brave but character
full of anger, and strong faith.
If your
qualities are like that, then do this following.......
1.
Drink
cool water,
2.
Do
not drink alcohol as it will create heat in body, which causes sickness.
3.
Drink
enough water.
4.
Vegetables
and heavy food are good for your body.
5.
Dinner
should be at least two hour before sleep.
6.
Control
anger as much as possible.
7.
Do
not do too much breathing exercise, meditate in Vajrasan position.
8.
Yoga
asanas are best for your body.
9.
Do
fasting sometimes.
Kapha Type Person
1.
Kapha
means water. The qualities are as follows....
2.
If
you are calm, lazy, too much sleep, heavy bone structure, fat body, throught
problems, short height but some time heavy size body, heavy weight, very good
digestion system, not active, and weak lungs system.
3.
If
your qualities are like that, then do the following.......
4.
Do
heavy exercise, include dry fruits in daily life, eat warm and fried food and
vegetables.
5.
Avoid
cool water and too much iced food.
6.
Alcohols
are ok for kapha type.
7.
Eat
enough carbohydrates items for your body
8.
Hot
and spicy foods are Ok.
9.
Avoid
salty foods.
10. Best to have pungent food items.
11. Do fasting sometimes.
12. Meditate in yoga Nidra position
(sleeping position).
13. Breathing exercise is very good for
your body.
